We need to verify if you own the social profile you mentioned. So that we can be sure that we are in touch with the actual influencer and not his/her imposter. For this verification, we use a service (in technical terms, an API) from Instagram/YouTube, which tells us if you have login access to a particular profile or not.
How to verify a social profile?
You must have gotten an option during registration to "Verify Instagram Profile" and similarly for YouTube and other platforms. If you missed this, you can re-access it:
Go to Your Account > Edit Account > Linked Accounts > Verify Instagram Account
Is it safe to verify?
Yes, it's completely safe. We just want to verify that the account belongs to you. You will notice, that we only ask for permission to access the handle name or channel name. We don't get access to any other information.
